I. Brunch was served from 12-1 p.m. II. Formal Meeting (11 members present—quorum; with guests) A. Secretary’s Report—Read by Bob Ness; the last Annual Meeting was held at Gilligan’s Restaurant, Moultonboro, 9/30/07; report accepted as read. B. Treasurer’s Report—Frank Quimby; the Association ended the year with a balance of $2,237.61; donation received from Fourth of July Parade ($100 from last year, and $100 for this year); report accepted as read. C. Technical Officer’s Report—Dan Morgan; the repeater is working, but lacks the sensitivity that would be expected; there have been no changes; the tone has cut interference; Dan is preparing to check out the machine to see if performance can be improved. D. President’s Report (Club Activities)—Bob Ness; Valentine's Brunch — Good food and good company; Smith River Canoe Race (Lions Club)—Well received (Publicly acknowledged) —Art Buckner, Bob Ness, Bruce Beaman, and Dan Morgan; Field Day 2008: Phone- 964, CW- 427; operators- Art Buckner, Bob Corollo, Bob Ness, Dan Morgan, Dick Kirkpatrick, and Joe Raffaele. Our numbers of contacts remained in the range of past events, even though our number of participants was lower than in the past.Consider, too, that we operated a GOTA station for the first time. Thanks go to Dan and Mary Morgan for the dining tent for the Sunday noon meal; Fourth of July Parade—Well received ($100 contribution) — Art Buckner, Bill Nelson, Bob Ness, Dan and Mary Morgan, and Joe Bradley; CNHARC Use of Repeater: Support of annual Fred Brown Relay Race and the Bristol 10K Relay Race; Ham fests: NEAR Fest, Henniker.
